Signing up for the newsletter is different than creating an account on www.deepspacesparkle.com. It is a separate list.
Due to the nature of digital material, we do not offer refunds on our PDF lesson plan products. If you have any concerns, please contact us using support@deepspacesparkle.com. We will return your email with 24 hours on workdays (Monday-Friday 8-5 PST)
The lesson plans with videos are exactly the same as the lesson plans without videos, with one exception: they contain a video link.
Freebies are like all other products. Place an order for a freebie and it appears in your “My Account” page. The only difference is that there is no charge. You don’t need to have a Paypal account or enter a credit card number. You can use freebies as much you want, but please don’t re-post, share or sell them as your own.
Single license products are for your own individual use. Please don’t resell or redistribute any part of a Deep Space Sparkle product. You can print out the handouts for your students but don’t distribute the lesson plans with other teachers. Please visit the copyright page for more detailed information.
We store your email address, password and billing address in our system. We do not store any of your financial information on Deep Space Sparkle servers. All PayPal transactions are handled at Paypal. Credit Card transactions are handled by Authorize.net, which is our credit card processing gateway. Your personal financial information is secure with them.
The easiest way to get your downloads is to use the “My Account” Page. Start with the “Shop” icon in the top section of www.deepspacesparkle.com. This page keeps track of all your orders. Click on the “My Account” menu to see your orders and a link to download each of the PDF files you purchased. If you are not logged in, you will have to enter your email and password.
We don’t accept purchase orders for our PDF Lesson Plan products. Payments can be made via Paypal or credit card in our DSS Shop for immediate download.
If you want a purchase order, use my Teachers Pay Teachers store. They accept purchase orders. Just place the lessons you would like in your cart and request a PO. Teachers Pay Teachers will handle the rest.
The links to the videos are in the PDF document. Download and open the PDF and click on the video link. You will be directed to a video page. If that page requires a password, enter the password (it is in the PDF document too). The password is case sensitive so make sure you either copy and paste the password or type exactly as shown. Once you enter the password, you can select from the collection of video tutorials. Each video is approximately 10 minutes. They are recorded in high definition. They may require a few minutes to load, so be patient.
We respond to all emails within 24 hours (Monday – Friday 8am-5pm PST). If you haven’t heard back, it may be because our response was blocked by your spam filter. Some schools block our emails and there is no way to let you know. Try again with a home-based email.
PayPal e-Checks usually take 3 to 5 business days to clear. When your e-Check clears, an email with the download link will automatically be sent to you. If you use a PayPal “Instant Transfer” (a regular PayPal payment instead of an e-Check) the email with the download link goes out immediately. Most customers use PayPal Instant Transfers so they can get their email, download their PDFs and jump into the lesson plans right away. Instant Transfers are easy if you have some available balance in your PayPal account. In this case, you need at least enough funds to cover the Instant Transfer, already in your account at the time of purchase. You can also use Credit Cards either thru PayPal or directly on www.deepspacesparkle.com for an instant purchase.
That’s okay. You can visit your “My Account” page (located in the top of the site) and download your purchase at anytime. If you forget your password, click on the “Lost Password” link. Then enter your email address and a password reset email will be sent to you.
Sometimes slow downloads will timeout. In this case, the download connection will be broken after about 15 minutes. If this happens to you, your PDF is not complete. If you are on a DSL or Cable Internet connection, try again. If you have better Internet access at school or work, try again from there. If you are on a slow Internet connection, don’t worry. Send us an email (contact form located here) and we will send you a different download link that doesn’t have a timeout.
The cover pages on some of the lesson plans have been refreshed, but the lesson plans themselves still contain the same content. So if you previously purchased a lesson plan, there is no need to purchase the same lesson plan again. To get the latest version, you can re-download the lesson plan using your “My Orders” page.
All PDF’s are available for download immediately following payment. You will receive an email with your download link. The download link will also be made available in your “My Account” page.
Please note that Deep Space Sparkle lesson plans will not be mailed to you. The lesson plans are digital PDF files, designed to be downloaded on-line and either displayed on your computer or printed on your printer. You can read these lesson plans on your computer and print them on your printer and read them on paper. To save paper, you can select which pages to print, for example you can print out the handouts for use in a classroom and leave the rest of the lesson plan on your computer.
Problems with printing PDFs are usually because of differences in the printers. PDFs are intended to be a portable document format (from Adobe) that can be interpreted by a large number of document readers and printed on a variety of printers. But the ability to print any given PDF might depend on the fonts used, the margin settings, or other features of the PDF standard that some printers don’t support. We test each of Patty’s PDFs on our printers here. But still, there can be some problems with other printers.
If you are having a problem printing a PDF using your printer, the best suggestion is to try printing on a different printer, perhaps a printer at your school or office.
If we haven’t answered all your questions, please contact us at support@deepspacesparkle.com. Thank you all so much for your support. Keep your emails and comments coming.
Thanks,
Patty (and the Team at Deep Space Sparkle)
